Health & Safety Regarding the Current Coronavirus (COVID-19) Outbreak

At this time, the Ovarian Cancer National Conference is scheduled to take place as planned July 10-12 in Washington, DC. OCRA leadership continue to monitor all developments related to the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), to assess possible impact on the National Conference.  As always, the health and safety of our attendees is paramount.

At this time, there are no travel restrictions specific to the Washington, DC area.  Any major changes to this status will be communicated to all registered meeting attendees and invited guests, and will be posted to our conference webpage.  If your outbound plans to travel to the conference are directly affected by this evolving situation, please contact us at and we will assist you in refunding conference fees.  If you plan to purchase flight tickets or other forms of transportation now, we encourage attendees to consider purchasing refundable options, or optional cancellation-for-any-reason insurance directly through airlines.

For the most up-to-date information regarding the virus and travel advisories, please refer to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website.  To view CDC best practices for avoiding person-to-person transmission of coronavirus, please click here.  We strongly urge attendees to consult with their health care providers about whether or not they should travel and attend, and to implement appropriate guidelines and protocols as suggested by the WHO and other health authorities.

OCRA endeavors to provide a safe and healthy environment for all attendees. If this is not possible, we will make changes to help keep everyone safe. Please take care of yourself, your family, and your community.
