New analysis links ovarian cancer to obesity

This week, a new analysis showed that women that are overweight or obese have a moderately higher risk of developing ovarian cancer than women at normal weight. The study, released by the American Institute for Cancer Research, analyzed the data from 28 studies of over 16,000 women with ovarian cancer and showed that women who carry extra weight are 5% more likely to develop ovarian cancer.
