Apply Today for OCRA’s 2022 Advocate Leader Program

OCRA is now accepting applications for 2022 Advocate Leaders

The application period has now closed.

Apply today to join survivors, caregivers and activists across the country to affect change for those impacted by ovarian cancer.

Advocate Leaders will learn how to educate federal and state policymakers about the disease, protect funding for lifesaving research, and fight for expanded access to treatment and care.

No legislative or advocacy experience is required—just a willingness to learn and, most importantly, to be a voice for patients and families affected by this disease.

Your participation makes a difference. Join us to ensure your elected officials keep ovarian cancer a legislative priority!

OCRA Advocacy in Action: Making a Difference Together

This year, our Advocate Leader program grew to over 100 members, representing nearly every state in the U.S. These dedicated advocates worked hard to raise ovarian cancer awareness in their communities, and to spread the message that we need more federal funding to defeat this disease.

Advocate Leaders participated in hundreds of Congressional meetings throughout the year, and their steady efforts led to the House of Representatives agreeing to an additional $10 million in funding for a key federal ovarian cancer research program.

Together, our efforts are working. Follow us on social media at @ocrahope and sign up for email updates to be notified when applications open!
