Audra Moran

President & CEO

As President & CEO of Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance, Audra heads the largest global charity for ovarian cancer research, support and advocacy. Under Audra’s leadership, OCRA has awarded the most funding in its history and passed the $128 million mark in 2024. Early on, she acquired and expanded a nonprofit with indoor cycling events to more than 23 locations nationwide. She also nationally expanded a peer support program for women undergoing treatment for gynecologic cancers by securing a $1 million corporate sponsorship with Woman to Woman funded at more than 40 hospitals and an expansive international virtual program.

Audra oversaw the merger of Ovarian Cancer Research Fund (OCRF) and Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA), with OCRA launching in January 2016. In 2024, she worked closely with the Clearity Foundation who joined OCRA in January 2025 and the Rivkin Center in April 2025. She continues to lead the expanded organization, with offices in New York City and Washington, DC.

As the only organization with a dedicated ovarian cancer policy team on Capitol Hill, she works closely with them to advocate for policies impacting ovarian cancer patients and to increase federal research funding. She has overseen the expansion of OCRA’s survivor-led training program now reaching over 10,000 medical students annually; re-vamped and enlarged OCRA’s partner program comprised of 70+ participating charities; and created a patient support program already serving thousands.

Most recently, Audra has overseen the evolution of OCRA’s role in promoting research progress and hastening drug development by creating an Industry Council, deepening relationships with regulatory and federal agencies, and identifying how OCRA can serve as an international convenor to promote crucial research collaborations as well as encourage burgeoning research areas such as AI. She is currently spearheading the development of a large-scale patient registry and federated data network.
