Jon Zeidman
Chief Development Officer
Jon Zeidman is OCRA’s Chief Development Officer, where he leads the organization’s comprehensive revenue strategy, including major gifts, annual giving, corporate and industry partnerships, foundation relations, special events, and planned giving. As a member of OCRA’s executive team, he helps shape the organization’s strategic direction and long-term growth. Jon also provides executive oversight for the organization’s finance, human resources, and operational functions.
Since joining OCRA in 2010 as the organization’s first Director of Development, Jon has built and led a fundraising program that has grown substantially over the past decade, helping to fuel OCRA’s evolution into the nation’s leading ovarian cancer research, advocacy, and patient support organization. Under his leadership, OCRA has developed a diverse and sustainable revenue portfolio that supports a broad range of programs serving patients, survivors, caregivers, researchers, and healthcare professionals across the country.
Prior to joining OCRA, Jon served as Director of Development for the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (formerly NARSAD), where he managed the organization’s $20 million annual fundraising campaign and supported efforts to advance groundbreaking research in mental health. Before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, he spent almost ten years working in film and television production as a location manager.
Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
