On June 19th, the Audacious Divas of Washington DC hosted their 2nd Annual Cooking for a Cure fundraiser for the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. The Cooking for a Cure event is a BBQ at a DC yacht club where members purchase tickets. In addition to the dinner, a lively raffle is held with some awesome raffle prizes. The group also handed out symptom cards and fact sheets about ovarian cancer to all attendees. This year’s event raised $850 and to date they have raised $1,700! OCNA staff were able to attend this local event.
