This September, Wrapped in Love has teamed up with multiple Emmy Award-winning talk show host, producer, New York Times Best Selling Author and actress Kelly Ripa to release a Limited-Edition Sock for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. At $20 a pair, 100% of every sale will be donated directly to Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) to advance research, advocacy, and support for those impacted by ovarian and gynecologic cancers.
The teal knee-high socks—the official awareness color for ovarian cancer—feature a teal ribbon on each side with a small pink heart at the center, representing Wrapped in Love. The ribbon design is bracketed by black, white, and teal stripes.
“Kelly and I both lost loved ones to ovarian cancer,” said Wrapped in Love founder Karen Mac Donald. “Giving back and the comfort of a warm pair of socks are something we – and most people – agree on, so we decided to design a sock to raise money for Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance to help eradicate this terrible disease.”
Kelly Ripa has long been involved in raising awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research, including her years as co-host of OCRA’s signature Super Saturday fundraising event.
