Ovar’coming Together

Ovar’coming Together was founded in 1996 (and incorporated in 2003) by Pam Faerber, Nancy Hines and Kai Binford – three Indianapolis women who were united as a result of having been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The three were concerned with the lack of information available to women regarding ovarian cancer and recognized the importance and need for information and peer support. Ovar’coming Together serves the entire state of Indiana. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer and increasing early detection resulting in a reduction of the number of women who die from the disease.
