The Teal Foundation
The Teal Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, was founded by the DeSimone family in October of 2014. Our biggest fundraiser, The Teal Run, has raised over $300,000 in the last 7 years that has helped to fund cutting edge research for ovarian cancer as well as support services for women who are diagnosed with the disease.
Our mission is to support research for the treatment of ovarian cancer, including the development of a reliable diagnostic test to detect the disease in its early stages, and to support agencies that provide support services for women and their families dealing with ovarian cancer.
