Senior Director, Treatment Access and Scientific Education

Anne Mette Buhl, Ph.D. is OCRA’s Senior Director of Treatment Access and Scientific Education and leads OCRA’s efforts to ensure access to and advancement of scientific education and support, including clinical trial navigation, and communicates scientific and clinical developments in the gynecologic oncology field to the OCRA community. Before joining OCRA, Dr. Buhl was the Director of Science and Clinical Trials at The Clearity Foundation. Dr. Buhl has worked in academia, industry and non-profit settings throughout her 30+ years in cancer research. Dr. Buhl was co-founder and CEO of CLLU1 Diagnostics, acquired by Ipsogen, a visiting fellow at the Moores Cancer Center, UC San Diego Health, a senior scientist at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital, and completed her post-doctoral work as a Fulbright scholar at National Jewish Health, University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Buhl received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Aarhus University, Denmark, holds a professional certificate in Clinical Trials Design and Management, and is widely published in basic and translational cancer fields.
