Audra Moran, President and CEO of Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA), has been recognized as a Crain’s New York Business 2026 Notable Leader in Health Care.
Crain’s annual recognition spotlights health care executives whose leadership, innovation, and community commitment set a high bar for the field. Honorees are selected based on demonstrated impact, both within their organizations and across the broader health care landscape.

Moran has led OCRA since 2010. Under her leadership, OCRA’s annual revenue has nearly tripled from $7.7 million to $21.6 million, enabling the organization to continue expanding its efforts to fight ovarian and gynecologic cancer through innovative research, comprehensive support programs, and advocacy. During her tenure, OCRA has surpassed $140 million in research funding, and the organization now helps 140,000 people annually through its support and education programs and resources. She has helped build OCRA into the sole national voice for gynecologic cancers on Capitol Hill—work that has helped secure $3.8 billion in federal research and education funding. Recently, she has expanded OCRA’s mission to all gynecologic cancers, welcomed The Clearity Foundation and Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research into the organization, and co-founded the Global Ovarian Cancer Research Consortium.
On behalf of the Board, I am proud to see Audra recognized in this way,” said OCRA Board Chair John Orrico. “She leads with clarity of purpose and an unwavering commitment to the people this work is meant to serve—bringing researchers, advocates, and patients together to drive meaningful progress today while accelerating discovery for the future.
