Audra Moran

Audra Moran has served as President and CEO of Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) since 2010, guiding its transformation into the world’s largest organization dedicated to advancing ovarian and related gynecologic cancer research while supporting people affected by gynecologic cancer.

During her tenure, OCRA has nearly tripled in size, expanded its national and international reach, and significantly increased its investment in research, with more than $150 million awarded to date. Today, OCRA serves more than 140,000 people annually through its patient support, education, and advocacy programs.

Audra has championed a bold approach to accelerating scientific discovery through collaboration, technology, and patient engagement. She spearheaded the creation of the Global Ovarian Cancer Research Consortium and its AI Accelerator initiative, bringing together international partners to harness artificial intelligence for breakthrough research. In 2026, she oversaw the launch of OCRA’s Community Accelerated Research Exchange, an ambitious initiative connecting patients, researchers, and data to transform how gynecologic cancer research is conducted.

She has also expanded OCRA’s influence in public policy, prevention, and access to care, helping secure billions of dollars in federal research and education funding while advancing initiatives to improve outcomes for people affected by gynecologic cancers.

Prior to joining OCRA, Audra served as Vice President of Development and Scientific Affairs at NARSAD (now the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation), advancing biomedical research through scientific collaboration and philanthropy.

Audra was named a 2026 Crain’s New York Business Notable Leader in Health Care in recognition of her contributions to the field.
