Accelerating the Mission: OCRA President & CEO Audra Moran Named a Crain’ 2026 Notable Leader in Health Care

Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) is proud to share that President and CEO Audra Moran has been named a Crain’s New York Business 2026 Notable Leader in Health Care—an annual recognition honoring executives whose leadership, innovation, and community commitment set a high bar for the field.

Moran has led OCRA since 2010. In the years since, OCRA’s annual revenue has nearly tripled, from $7.7 million to $21.6 million, fueling the organization’s expanding mission to fight ovarian and gynecologic cancer through research, patient support, and advocacy. Under her leadership, OCRA has surpassed $140 million in research funding, grown to support 140,000 individuals annually through its programs and resources, and, as the sole dedicated voice for gynecologic cancers on Capitol Hill, helped to secure $3.8 billion in federal research and education funding.

More recently, Moran has led a significant expansion of OCRA’s reach and impact: welcoming The Clearity Foundation and the Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research into the OCRA family, extending the organization’s mission to all gynecologic cancers, and co-founding the Global Ovarian Cancer Research Consortium.

Moran spoke with Crain’s Quick Take’s Andrea Walker-Leidy about the initiatives driving OCRA’s momentum, including the Global Ovarian Cancer Research Consortium and the AI-powered research tools reshaping what’s possible for patients.
