OCRA’s Ovarian Cycle Tampa marked its 12th year of raising funds and awareness for ovarian cancer research this past weekend, as reported by WFTS-TV ABC Action News Tampa Bay’s Robert Boyd. The event took place on September 7th, with an indoor cycling ride at Union Three.
“It’s gratifying to me that other people who have been touched by ovarian cancer are participating,” said Richard Rudolph, whose family brought Ovarian Cycle to Tampa, in an interview before the event. “It’s wonderful that we’re going to fill this room.”
To date, Ovarian Cycle Tampa has raised nearly $400,000 for Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
