As we remain steadfast in our long-range mission of being the voice for the ovarian cancer community and funding life-saving research, we also want to acknowledge the moment we are in now. We know that the isolation required of all of us may be both familiar to those who are undergoing or have gone through treatment, and also quite frightening.
We want to reiterate that OCRA is here for you—whether by continuing to fund the research that will bring about better treatment options and one day find a cure, or by supporting newly diagnosed patients and their families as they navigate new systems and protocols and terminology.
We want to stay in closer contact with you, our community, and strengthen these bonds of connectivity. So be on the lookout for more communication from us.
In the meantime, stay safe and well. And enjoy the following resources, which will hopefully bring a bit of life and light into your home (in lieu of people).
• Virtual museum tours
• Nightly Metropolitan Opera livestreams
• Berlin Philharmonic Digital Concert Hall
• Monterey Bay Aquarium livestreams
• Daily doodles with artist Mo Willems
