An Interview With President & CEO Audra Moran

(June 19, 2019) In an interview with SurvivorNet, OCRA President and CEO Audra Moran offers some guidance to women who are battling ovarian cancer:

#1 – You don’t need to go through it alone. OCRA’s Woman to Woman program matches gynecologic cancer patients with trained survivor volunteers to provide support and mentoring to women when they need it most.
#2 – Get genetic testing. Knowing your risk can affect how you and your doctor go about treatment.
#3 – Educate yourself as much as you can about the disease — and follow current research. “Research changes all the time, but it can always be relevant to you,” she said.
