Give Hope Today for an Ovarian Cancer Cure

This past year, nearly 20,000 women had their lives turned upside down with an ovarian cancer diagnosis. Ovarian cancer can be devastating to patients and their families – but with your help, there is hope.

Match effective from 11/29/22 through 12/31/22

Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance is the largest charity in the world fighting ovarian cancer from every angle – in the research lab, on Capitol Hill, and through programs that support the community. OCRA is ensuring patients and survivors have somewhere to turn for guidance and resources, all while advocating for federal programs, and funding groundbreaking research that can bring better prevention, treatments, and a cure.

Your gift, made between 11/29 and through 12/31, will be matched dollar-for-dollar by a generous OCRA board member up to a grand total of $500,000.

OCRA does not receive government funding, which means every single discovery and program was made possible by contributions from people who believe in our mission. In 2022 alone,

  • We discovered. OCRA funded $6.3 million in promising research in 2022, leading to several important discoveries, including an oncogene that may increase immune response against the most common ovarian tumors.
  • We connected. Our online support series brought more than 1,700 patients and loved ones together into a supportive community. Our oncology social workers helped more than 1,500 people through our patient support line, provided free-of-charge across the nation. And our Woman to Woman peer mentor program matched over 500 people with a mentor who understands as only someone who has been there can.
  • We advocated. OCRA’s Advocate Leaders spoke out and were responsible for massive increases in federal ovarian cancer research spending.
  • We empowered. Hundreds of survivors, patients and supporters logged on to learn the latest in treatment and care at our Uniting for Hope Ovarian Cancer National Conference.
  • We educated. OCRA’s Survivors Teaching Students program reached more than 10,000 rising healthcare professionals with personal stories of diagnosis and treatment.

OCRA is leading the charge against this disease – lighting the path forward to a world where better prevention means fewer are diagnosed, where everyone touched by the disease can find support, and to a day when every single patient can be successfully treated.

Your support funds a brighter future for ovarian cancer patients. Make your gift now, and give hope today.
