Jason D. Wright, MD

Dr. Wright is the Louis E. Phaneuf Teaching and Research Professor and Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Wright received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Missouri and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Washington University in St. Louis and Barnes Jewish Hospital.

Dr. Wright’s primary area of research focus is comparative effectiveness and outcomes research. His team uses large scale datasets to analyze new treatments and technologies to reduce the burden of disease and design interventions to improve health. Dr. Wright has published more than 600 scientific manuscripts as well as a numerous chapters and textbooks. His work has been funded by the NIH and a number of other societies and philanthropic sources. Dr. Wright is the Editor-in-Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology and lectures nationally and internationally.
