OCRA’s Ovarian Cycle Tampa Receives Recognition, Raises Funds and Awareness

OCRA’s Ovarian Cycle Tampa event was in the news this week, shining a well-deserved light on the event’s riders and organizers, and what inspires them to participate in OCRA’s signature fundraising event.

The fitness and fundraising event took place on September 30th at CycleBar in Tampa, on the final day of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Over the past decade, Ovarian Cycle Tampa has raised over $370,000 for Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.

In a video interview, Roslyne Seupaul, a rider and ovarian cancer survivor, says, “I have a responsibility to awareness and research because there (are) so many ovarian cancer patients who aren’t in the position of claiming the title survivor.”

Our gratitude goes out to event chairs Jeff Maloney and Benjamin Rudolph, and everyone who came together to raise funds for OCRA’s research, advocacy and support programs for the gynecologic cancer community.
