
Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance’s Vice President of Policy, Chad Ramsey, spoke with Ellen Bryan of WUSA-TV’s Great Day Washington, and shared important new findings from a paper co-authored by OCRA and Komodo Health.
The analysis reveals that nearly half of women diagnosed with ovarian cancer don’t receive essential genetic testing, despite its impact on treatment and family risk.

OCRA’s Spring Advocacy Day

OCRA’s Advocate Leaders and policy team met with members of Congress during OCRA’s Spring Advocacy Day to urge them to restore cancer research funding and pass critical legislation.
Nearly 120 advocates from 35 states & Washington, DC, participated, holding 135+ meetings with Congressional offices in an effort to restore funding to the Ovarian Cancer Research Program, renew commitment to gynecologic cancer research and education funding, and pass legislation to allow Medicare to cover multi-cancer early detection tests.
